A man lived three months at Chicago O’Hare International Airport in the US state of Illinois for fear of contracting with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

36-year-old Aditya Singh, according to the source, arrived from Los Angeles on October 19 and has since lived in the airport security zone as he was “afraid to go home, because of COVID-19”.

The man was arrested Saturday, January 16 in the restricted area after he showed two United Airlines employees an ID card that did not belong to him.

According to the state’s deputy prosecutor, Kathleen Hagerty, the man found that card at the airport and used it to stay in the compound.

To date, it is unknown why Singh, a citizen of Orange County in the state of California, came to Chicago.
