At least six people lost their lives and dozens were hospitalized after a traffic accident involving more than 100 vehicles in Fort Worth, Texas (USA), on the morning of February 11.
The car collision took place on Interstate 35W. According to local authorities, 133 vehicles, including passenger cars and trucks, were involved in the incident, which spanned more than 800 meters.
In fact, when the first rescuers arrived on the scene, the scene of the accident was still expanding, detailed the local outlet Dallas News.

Over the course of several hours, 26 fire department vehicles, 80 police cars and 13 ambulances came to the site, authorities reported.
According to preliminary data, at least 65 people were treated at area hospitals for injuries related to the accident, but that number is expected to rise as more people seek help.
The collision occurred due to an accumulation of ice in the lanes, reported WFAA.
