White House spokesman Jen Psaki tested positive for coronavirus infection.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki has tested positive for coronavirus infection. On Sunday, October 31, Psaki herself announced this on her Twitter page.

Psaki said that on Wednesday, October 27, in coordination with senior White House officials and the medical team, she decided not to travel with Biden overseas “due to a family emergency.” It is noted that her loved ones have contracted the coronavirus.

“Since then, I have quarantined and tested negative (via PCR) for covid on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. However, today, I tested positive for covid,” said Psaki.

She noted that due to the fact that she was vaccinated, the disease with coronavirus proceeds without severe symptoms. Psaki plans to return to work at the end of a ten-day quarantine after a negative PCR test.

A White House spokeswoman further emphasized that she last saw the US President on Tuesday while keeping a safe distance. She was also wearing personal protection equipment.
