In the small town of Corbin in the US state of Kentucky, a dispute over a borrowed sex toy has gotten completely out of hand!

Corbin woman accused of stabbing her cousin over a sex toy now faces multiple charges, including second-degree assault.

An officer was summoned to Mitchell Hill Road on Saturday afternoon in response to a stabbing, according to an arrest citation. When Crystal Denham dialled 911, she said she had stabbed her cousin, Michael Barton—also her neighbor—and that she had done it in self-defense. When the cop arrived, Denham was busy sweeping the porch.

Denham explained the situation to the officer. When Barton arrived at her house, they got into a heated argument about the sex toy. She borrowed it and he said he wanted it back.

According to the citation, she urged him to leave her property, and when he grabbed her by the elbow, she stabbed him with the kitchen knife she was holding.

The injuries sustained by Barton were judged minor, and he refused hospital treatment. Denham began “acting crazy,” he told the police, and when he tried to leave, she stabbed him.

When the officer informed Denham that she was being arrested, the citation states that Denham began to yell and stated that she would not go to jail.

The officer pulled out a taser and according to the citation, she “formed a fist with each of her hands, bladed her body in a fighting stance, swelled her chest out, and began approaching” the officer.

The officer stepped to the side and pushed Denham to where she became compliant and placed under arrest.

Denham was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing, and resisting arrest.
