These 12 indicators might help you spot hypoglycemia in people with diabetes

In general, diabetes is characterized by complications with high blood sugar levels, but many people are unaware that medication in some diabetics can also result in dangerously low sugar levels, known as hypoglycemia.

Diabetes typically affects people whose bodies are unable to respond to or generate insulin, the hormone that collects blood sugar and turns it into energy.

Type 2 diabetes is the most common, and some people take pills on a regular basis that can produce severe decreases in blood levels, resulting in very common symptoms that should not be overlooked.

Low blood sugar, also known as hypoglycemia, is characterized by glucose levels below 4 mmol / L and the most typical symptoms, according to Diabetes UK, are sweating, fatigue, and dizziness, although diabetes people may also feel weak or very hungry, and have a higher heart rate than usual.

Blurred vision, pallor, and even confusion are all classic symptoms of a sugar decrease.

Hypoglycemia can cause seizures, unconsciousness, and even coma in the most severe cases.

Although medicine is the most common cause of hypoglycemia, it can also be caused by a lack of food, exercise, or even alcohol consumption, therefore it is important to consult a doctor if you observe these symptoms in your body.
