Raytheon Technologies, a US firm, has released a video that demonstrates how the Coyote Block 2+ suicide drones, popularly known as ‘flying coyotes,’ shoot down a series of aerial targets of various sizes and launch from various platforms.

During the training, the US military deployed a KuRFS radar placed atop an armored M-ATV and a transportable Ku-720 radar to detect the location of targets. The Coyote Block 2+ is projected to be able to supplement the short-range air defense system in the future.

The coyotes have an advanced viewer and can be launched from land, air, or a ship for both troops and swarms. They are said to be capable of reconnaissance and electronic warfare missions in addition to combat missions.
