Kanye West says Kim Kardashian accused him of putting a hit on her.
The 44-year-old rapper, who has been at odds with his ex over their eight-year-old daughter North’s use of TikTok, has reaffirmed claims that he was denied entry to their daughter Chicago’s birthday party.
In a since-deleted post, he posted on Instagram:
“Yesterday Kim accused me of putting a hit out on her so let me get this straight. I beg to go to my daughters part and Im accused of stealing now Im being accused of putting a hit on her.
“These ideas can actually get someone locked up. They play like that with black mens lives weather its getting them free or getting them locked up. Im not playing about my black children anymore (sic).”
He also said that Kim’s cousin Kara ‘agreed’ with him that he didn’t want North on TikTok and asked him what he should do.
He asked last week: ‘Since this is my first divorce I need to know what should I do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will?”
He shared a text message with Kara on Sunday, alleging she called him and said she’d ‘speak out publicly, which she never did,’ and that she agreed with him.
Over the weekend, Kanye published a text message in which he received Kim’s new phone number from Larry Jackson, who is the boyfriend of her former employee Steph Shepherd.
He made the posts after blasting his former partner on Instagram on Friday for allowing their eight-year-old daughter to have a TikTok account, which she shares with her mother.
Posting a screenshot of her profile on his social media page, he asked followers:
“Since this is my first divorce I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will?”
Kim was also tagged in the photo, and she responded with a lengthy post on her own page.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,’ she wrote on her story.
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, | am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.
“From the beginning | have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
Kim is said to have filed paperwork to be officially single in December, about a year after she first petitioned to break their marriage.
The mother of four is now dating Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, while Ye is dating actress Julia Fox in a very public relationship.
