Recent satellite images of North Korea’s Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Centre suggest that work is underway to develop fissile materials that would enable Kim Jong-un to pursue nuclear weapons.

Satellite footage shows that production at a nuclear facility in North Korea is underway.

The manufacturing of fissile material, including plutonium and enriched uranium, appears to be in full swing at the Hermit Kingdom’s Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Centre.

These elements are required for North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to achieve his nuclear development goals.

The photographs also imply that operations at the facilities in and around the center have been stepped up.
