Three Fruits That Can Dissolve Blood Clots Naturally – Finds Study

Blood clot symptoms can be life-threatening if ignored.

Anticoagulants break up blood clots by making the blood thinner, but in recent years, fruits have shown that they can do the same thing. There is proof that certain compounds included in plants have the ability to prevent or dissolve blood clots. Fruits shouldn’t be used as a substitute for medical care, despite the fact that doing so may lower the risk of blood clots in the future.

The Vein and Vascular Institute claims that rutin and bromelain are two of the most effective plant-based foods for breaking up clots naturally.

A study published in 2012 in the International Current Pharmaceutical Journal indicated that consuming rutin, which is present in apples, lemons, onions, oranges, teas, and supplements, can reduce the risk of thrombi developing following injury.

The report’s authors found that it has a low risk of side effects, meaning it might be used as a low-cost medicine to prevent future clots and save many lives.

For similar reasons, the Vein and Vascular Institute recommends consuming natural pineapple or using a nutritional supplement containing bromelain.

Several studies have shown that the enzyme that breaks down proteins stops pro-inflammatory molecules from being made.

Preliminary research published in the journal Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences suggests that it may also release effects that assist remove the fibrin in blood clots.

Garlic, kiwi fruit, kale, spinach, red wine, grape juice, and grape juice are all foods and drinks that may help dissolve blood clots, as reported by the health body.

However, it warns that attempting to dissolve a blood clot at home may postpone receiving professional medical care.

If the blood clots spread to other areas of the body, this could raise the risk of potentially fatal complications.

The solution to the Problem of Blood Clots

The best course of action is prevention, even though data suggests the plant foods mentioned above could reverse clotting issues.

The anti-inflammatory qualities of turmeric make it a popular ingredient in both food and medicine.

The spice was praised for its effective anti-platelet actions, which may help prevent future blood clots, in a review article that was published in the EPMA journal in 2019.

Platelet activation is central to thrombosis.

Research published in 2017 in the Journal of Cell Physiology found that curcumin, which is the active ingredient in turmeric, also worked as an anticoagulant, an anti-cancer agent, and an antioxidant.

However, the treatment claims that more research is required before it can be used as a supplemental therapy to treat blood clots.

Ginger, which includes the chemical salicylate, is another superfood that has been promoted for its anti-coagulation properties.

Aspirin is primarily synthesized from this plant component.

Even while including these spices in your diet may reduce your risk of developing blood clotting issues, there are several things you should avoid.

Several scientific studies have shown that not getting enough sleep for a long time increases the risk of metabolic and endocrine dysfunction, which can mess with the circulatory system.

Sitting for extended periods of time can potentially create blood clots because it restricts blood flow.

Even though blood clots are usually safe as long as they stay in one place, this can change if they move to another part of the body.

A clot that produces a pulmonary embolism and goes to the heart or lungs could result in

  • chest pain
  • discomfort in the upper body, such as the chest, back, neck, or arms, and shortness of breath

The signs of a blood clot that isn’t moving will depend a lot on where it is in the body.
