Heart Attack? The Miracle Herb 30% Better Than Anti-inflammatory Drugs at Reducing Inflammation and Improving Immunity

Published on

Addressing inflammation is a crucial goal in the treatment of patients following a heart attack. Although certain powerful anti-inflammatory medications have demonstrated improvements in post-heart attack outcomes, they can also suppress the immune system and raise the risk of severe infections.

The new study shows that individuals who were treated with this nutritional supplement experienced considerably fewer complications, such as chest or joint pains, after their heart attack.

A recent study has highlighted the potential of a readily available herb derived from Astragalus, a traditional Chinese plant. This miraculous herb has shown the ability to not only reduce inflammation but also enhance a patient’s immune response by increasing immune cells.

Researchers from Newcastle University, UK, have discovered that a product called TA-65®, derived from a purified plant-based compound found in Astragalus, significantly decreases inflammation without compromising the patient’s immune function, unlike existing cardiovascular treatments.

Published in GeroScience, the study revealed that when TA-65® was administered to older patients for more than a year following their heart attack, it specifically boosted the production of lymphocytes, thereby enhancing the patients’ immunity.

Furthermore, individuals treated with this drug experienced considerably fewer complications, such as chest or joint pains, after their heart attack.

Natural Compound Reduces Inflammation and Boosts Immunity in Heart Attack Patients

A recent study led by Professor Ioakim Spyridopoulos, a Cardiology and Cardiovascular Gerontology expert at Newcastle University, in collaboration with the heart team at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, has shed light on the role of inflammation in heart attack development and its subsequent complications.

According to Professor Spyridopoulos, it is now widely acknowledged that inflammation plays a critical role in the formation, progression, and rupture of coronary plaques that lead to heart attacks. Additionally, inflammation is a significant risk factor for further complications in heart attack patients.

The study focused on reducing inflammation as a vital treatment target for post-heart attack patients. Remarkably, the study revealed that a plant-based compound called TA-65® effectively reduced inflammation by up to 62%.

While certain potent anti-inflammatory drugs have demonstrated improved outcomes after heart attacks, they often suppress the immune system and carry an increased risk of severe infections. However, the study found that TA-65® not only reduced inflammation but also appeared to enhance patients’ immunity by increasing their immune cell count.

To evaluate the compound’s effectiveness, scientists conducted a randomized controlled pilot study involving 90 patients aged 65 and over. Participants were administered either a placebo or TA-65®, with blood measurements taken at baseline, six months, and one year to assess the study outcomes. Regular clinic visits were conducted to monitor any potential side effects.

TA-65® is a patented, plant-derived compound derived from Astragalus, an herb widely used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. The study showed that patients who received TA-65® experienced fewer adverse effects, such as fever or new medical problems, following their heart attack. In fact, this group demonstrated 30% fewer adverse effects compared to the placebo group.

This breakthrough research offers promising insights into the potential of TA-65® as a natural compound to reduce inflammation and boost immunity in heart attack patients. Further investigations and larger-scale studies are necessary to validate these findings and explore the long-term benefits and safety of this treatment approach.

The research team intends to pursue a subsequent study to validate the findings on a larger scale. Additionally, future investigations will prioritize examining the potential of TA-65® in diminishing adverse cardiac events, such as occurrences of heart attacks or mortality.
