GarageBand for iOS also gets updated with dark mode

Published on

Apple, little by little, is updating all its iPhone and iPad applications to be fully compatible with iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, its new operating systems for mobile devices. Especially the interface, because one of the novelties of these versions is the incorporation of the dark mode.

If a few days ago iMovie and Clips received their update, now it’s the turn of GarageBand, the app that allows us to turn our iPhone and iPad into a recording studio with a large collection of instruments. Apart from the dark mode, compatibility with external devices also arrives.

New “Skyline Heat” sound pack with 350 Hip Hop loops

The 2.3.8 version of GarageBand is loaded with news. In addition to the aforementioned dark mode, we can access files from external storage devices such as hard drives or Pendrives. This function is especially useful for holders of a third generation iPad Pro.

But that’s not all, because as mentioned by 9to5Mac a new downloadable sound pack is also included. With the name of “Skyline Heat”, the bundle comes with 350 new Hip Hop loops and 6 drum kits. Finally, and as usual in updates, this version improves performance and stability.
