Harry and Meghan’s latest interview with Oprah Winfrey, aired in the UK recently has received the attention of millions of viewers around the world. Some viewers reacted angrily to serious allegations by the Dukes of Sussex about royalty, while others felt compassion for the couple.
Prince Harry and Meghan were interviewed by Oprah Winfrey after their departure from the royal family. They revealed acts of racism by the Crown against their son because of the color of his skin and claimed that they were not offered mental health support. The Dukes of Sussex
The British accused the Dukes of Sussex of discrediting the monarchy and even claimed to strip Harry and Meghan of their titles.
Piers Morgan, the famous Good Morning Britain host, accused Prince Harry of abandoning royalty, calling his decision “shameful”.
“This interview is an absolutely disgraceful betrayal of the Queen and the Royal Family. I expect all this vile destructive self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle – but for Harry to let her take down his family and the Monarchy like this is shameful,” he wrote in your Twitter account.

He also blamed the Sussexes for trying to turn the world against the monarchy.

Reacting to the interview, Piers lashed out at the prince, claiming the royal legacy from the early 21st century.
“Now you want to turn the world against us and the royal family? What your grandmother has achieved with such hard work for six decades?”, Addressing Prince Harry directly during the television program.
For his part, Robert Jobson, royal expert and author of Diana: Closely Guarded Secret, lashed out at Meghan Markle questioning that she could not receive mental health support.
“I do not think that a man who has advised himself, who obtained advice for Princess Diana, says that you cannot get advice for Meghan Markle,” defended Prince Charles.
“The only winner in this is Oprah Winfrey,” she posited her opinion of the interview.

On the other hand, criticism of the Sussex complaints appeared. Former New York Republican Party Representative Pete King questioned Meghan’s attitude after the wedding.
“I’m certainly not in love with British royalty, but Meghan Markle had to know what royal life was going to be like before she got married, unless it’s totally empty,” Pete King wrote in a Facebook post.
“And if the two of them weren’t happy, they should have left and not started their self-pity tour.

On the other hand, Prince Harry and Meghan are not short of advocates.
Canadian actor Patrick J. Adams, who co-starred with her in the series Suits, defended Markle from criticism, calling it “OBSCENE” that the royal family “bullying” accusations that she is a stalker and argued that the monarchy has “exceeded its relevance”.

Stylist Daniel Martin, who did Meghan’s makeup on her wedding day, shared a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on his Instagram.

Racism, the explosive topic
In her emotional interview, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she suffered from racism as a member of the British royal family which contributed to her suicidal thoughts. Speaking of her son Archie, Meghan said that within the royal house there were “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin could be when he was born.” However, she avoided giving more details.

For her part, Oprah declared after the program that neither the queen nor her husband, Prince Philip, were part of the conversations in which they expressed concern about how dark their great-grandson’s skin would be.
The statements about racism sparked a wave of comments from Afro-descendant women.
