Five main symptoms associated with the onset of dementia named

Dementia can occur in people in their 40s. Early brain damage is indicated by five main symptoms.

Signs of early-onset Alzheimer’s or dementia can occur even at the age of 40. The initial symptoms of the condition, which are worth paying attention to, according to the findings of the Alzheimer’s Research UK charity.

It is noted that at the initial stage of the development of dementia, a person may have visual impairment and problems with assessing the distance and speed of movement of objects. 

Secondly, aphasia may appear – complete or partial loss of speech, as well as difficulty finding words to express thoughts. 

Changes in behavior are another symptom of early-onset disorder. So, a person can become irritable, depressed, insecure. It is emphasized that similar symptoms are observed in depression, so a doctor must establish an accurate diagnosis.

In addition, a patient with developing dementia may lose sense of time and place, and forget events. 

If such symptoms are evident, it is important to seek the advice of a specialist in time.

Dementia is a disorder resulting from acquired brain disease, a persistent decrease in cognitive activity with a loss, to one degree or another, of previously acquired knowledge and practical skills. The condition is most often observed in old age.
