Study reports a COVID-19 Symptom which appears “only in people who’ve been vaccinated”

Researchers have named a symptom of the coronavirus, which often manifests itself in the case of infection after vaccination.

British experts have identified a sign of coronavirus infection, which is found only in vaccinated people.

As you know, vaccines provide significant protection against COVID-19: they reduce the severity of the course of the disease and reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus.

However, even after vaccination, there is a risk of infection.

According to the ZOE COVID Symptom Study, the world’s largest study of COVID-19 and a symptom-monitoring application, vaccinated patients develop the infection primarily through frequent sneezing, although in unvaccinated patients it is often considered a sign of cold or allergy rather than infection.

Scientists also emphasize that people who were vaccinated and later became ill again with COVID-19, even in mild form, also called sneezing one of the signs of the disease.

“If you’ve been vaccinated and start sneezing a lot without an explanation, you should stay home and get a COVID test, especially if you are living or working around people who are at greater risk from the disease,” advised the COVID Symptom Study app researchers.

It is noted that sneezing in unvaccinated people is more likely associated with a cold or allergy.

“Even though many people with COVID-19 might sneeze, it’s not a definitive symptom because sneezing is so common, especially in the warmer months where people might experience hay fever,” the research team said.

They also recalled the most common manifestations of coronavirus are high fever, chills, persistent cough, loss of taste and/or smell, headache, increased fatigue, sore throat, sudden confusion, skin rash, shortness of breath, diarrhea, runny nose.
