Federal health officials see Biden’s 70 percent target as a critical step toward herd immunity, which occurs when enough people in a community have antibodies against a specific disease.
Meanwhile, the government is pushing unvaccinated people to get vaccinated, especially when there is a rise in the cases of Delta variant.
Although vaccine side effects are a sign that your immune system is working properly, they have caused some concern.
There’s been a lot written about the side effects of coronavirus vaccines.
Many of the side effects of the Pfizer Covid jab have been documented by the CDC.
The CDC says that fever is more common after the second dose and in younger people than in older people.
The CDC also discovered that side effects were more common than not having a reaction.
77.4 percent of vaccine recipients who were asked to keep diaries of their symptoms for seven days after vaccination reported at least one systemic reaction.
The health body also noted “frequency of systemic adverse events was higher in the younger than the older age group”.
Within each age group, the “frequency and severity” of side effects were higher after dose two than dose one.
“Vomiting and diarrhoea were exceptions, and similar between vaccine and placebo groups and regardless of dose,” the CDC found.
Fatigue, headache, and new or worsening muscle pain were the most common symptoms in both age groups.

Overall, side effects in the vaccine group began one to two days after either dose and lasted one day on average.
