Most of the US is under a high level of COVID-19 community transmission according to the maps, charts, and data provided by CDC.

The most recent map on their site displays data from Friday, August 13 through Thu, August 19.

According to data, 87.36 percent of counties in the United States have a high level of community remission. Much of Nebraska remains blue, indicating a low degree of community transmission.

Eight months after receiving their second dose, US health officials are anticipated to prescribe a COVID-19 vaccination booster shot for all fully immunised Americans.
