Drink improves digestion and burns body fat fast, Expert says

According to a wellness psychologist, there is a nutrient-rich drink that can aid digestion and reduce unhealthy body fat.

A combination of a balanced diet and exercise is the most effective strategy to achieve a healthy weight.

However, Ieva Kebiliute, a wellness psychologist, says coriander juice could help people who have a lot of visceral fat lose weight more quickly, according to the Daily Express.

Visceral fat, sometimes known as “hidden fat,” is located in the body’s stomach.

Although visceral fat is not visible and cannot be touched, it can increase the risk of chronic health problems such as heart disease and metabolic disorders.

To combat obesity, Ieva suggests combining coriander leaves, seeds, flowers, and fruit, which contain antioxidants that improve digestion.

According to the expert, “Coriander juice is popular for quick weight shedding.

“It works by increasing your metabolism, thus burning more calories at a faster frequency

“You may not like its taste, but blending with lemon juice improves the flavour and gives more effect.”

In a study published in the Journal of Agriculture and Biology, scientists conducted an investigation on the effects of coriander seed supplementation on visceral fat storage in developing rats.

The rats were given either ordinary rat chow or rat chow with crushed coriander seeds added to it.

After five weeks, the researchers found a shift in the mice’ visceral fat.

They said: “Whilst dietary supplementation with coriander did not affect the lipid content of the liver, it significantly increased the amount of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids in the visceral adipose tissue where it also decreased the fatty acid content.

“Coriander increased the omega 3: omega 6 ratios in the visceral adipose tissue which may explain its health benefits.”

According to a previous study, coriander leaves can help enhance metabolism by increasing insulin release, which helps regulate blood sugar.

However, a sedentary lifestyle is mostly to blame for visceral fat.

Regular exercise is the most effective way to lose weight.

According to Harvard Health, engaging “in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity most days, such as brisk walking or bicycling at a casual pace”.

It’s also vital to pay attention to portion sizes and to emphasize complex carbs in your diet.
