Revealed: The Reason Why Charles III And Princess Diana Split After All

The King: The Life of Charles III, a new book by unofficial royal biographer Christopher Andersen, will be published on November 8 and details the reasons why His Majesty’s marriage to Princess Diana failed.

Andersen says that Lady Dee literally followed her husband “down hallways, up staircases and from room to room” in Charles’s country home at Highgrove House. He was said to have shown no sexual interest in her.

“Why won’t you sleep with me?”  Diana asked her husband, who had pretty much ended their sexual relationship on his own since 1984, when Prince Harry was born. Charles allegedly responded with sarcasm: “I don’t know, dear. I think I might be gay,” according to the book.

Anderson claims that after one heated exchange, His Majesty made a childish demand for respect.

He questioned his wife: “Do you know who I am?”

“Diana answered that he was a ‘f–king animal,’” says Andersen.

“You will never be King!” she said. “William will succeed your mother. I will see to that.”

As a result, the tense atmosphere at the royal court got worse over time.

Despite what the book claims, Diana was aware that Charles had feelings for Camilla Parker- Bowles before she even decided to marry him.

“The clashes between Diana and Charles were now so raw that ‘violence seemed inevitable,’” notes the book.

According to the book, officers were concerned about the amount of firepower that was reportedly confined within Highgrove’s walls, including shotguns, rifles, and handguns.

“The detectives in charge of protecting members of the royal family were deeply concerned that ‘in the heat of anger,’ any one of these could be used to commit suicide, homicide or both,” Andersen writes as cited by Page Six.

It’s worth noting that Charles and Diana married in 1981. In 1992, they decided to split, and their divorce was finalized in 1996. A year later, Princess Diana was killed in a terrible car accident when she was 36 years old.
