After a high-profile appearance in court, singer Britney Spears reached out to fans on Instagram. She admitted that in recent years she had been pretending when she said that everything was fine in her life, and asked for forgiveness for this.

“I just want to tell you guys a little secret 🤫 … I believe as people we all want the fairy tale life and by the way I’ve posted … my life seems to look and be pretty amazing … I think that’s what we all strive for !!!!,” the beginning of the star.

Britney says she doesn’t want people around her to think her life is perfect.

“I apologize for pretending like I’ve been ok the past two years … I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me … but honestly who doesn’t want to capture their Instagram in a fun light 💡🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!! Believe it or not pretending that I’m ok has actually helped … so I decided to post this quote today because by golly if you’re going through hell …,” Spears said.

The singer’s fans, as well as many celebrity friends and colleagues, supported her.

“You shouldn’t be ashamed of that. The only person to feel ashamed about is the people who hurt you so much.”

“We support you Britney. You are incredible “,” We hear you. We support you,” the fans wrote.

Recall, speaking on June 23 in a Los Angeles court, Britney said that for many years she was subjected to strict control and exploitation.

The singer asked to remove her father James Spears from custody of her, which has been going on for 13 years.

Previously, she tried to regain legal capacity but lost the court in November last year.
