An unexpected symptom of liver cancer revealed

Published on

This symptom should alarm you even if you don’t feel any discomfort.

The liver has few nerve endings, so it can be quite difficult to detect the presence of a malignant tumor in this organ in the early stages.

It’s about the color of your stools: if you see that your stools have changed color, in particular, they have become paler or gray for no apparent reason, it is time to go to the doctor.

Among other symptoms of the disease, as advised by the largest British cancer support Macmillan, they are:

  • loss of appetite
  • the feeling of being full shortly after starting to eat
  • weight loss
  • nausea and vomiting
  • fatigue
  • the pains in the right part of the abdomen, under the ribs
  • fever and flu symptoms
  • swollen belly
  • yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes
  • the tendency to bruise and bleed

Liver cancer is a malignant tumor that comes from cells of this organ or is metastasized by another tumor. According to data from the World Cancer Research Fund, in 2018 there were more than 840,000 new cases of liver cancer in the world.
