Drone captures more than 64,000 green turtles in one shot off the coast of Australia

A huge group of 64,000 green turtles was filmed from the sky with the help of a drone. This stunning video was recorded at the world’s largest coral reef system, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

A team of researchers from the Queensland Department of Environment and Science captured the video from the sky over Raine Island, the world’s largest breeding colony of green turtles.

In the viral video, the thousands of marine animals can be seen floating on the surface of the clear blue waters around the island.

Although the video was recorded last December and published in June, they went viral again on the networks in recent days.
