Ukraine’s request under the OSCE Vienna Document is inappropriate, according to Russia.
In response to Ukraine’s demand for explanations from the Russian on the exercises, Russia says the demands to provide detailed explanations regarding its military activities in areas adjacent to the territory of Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied Crimea, under the OSCE Vienna document is inadmissible.
On the night of Monday, February 14, Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak announced this on Twitter.

According to him, Moscow has already responded to the demands of Ukraine.
The response states that “it doesn’t conduct any unusual military activity on its territory and that #Ukraine’s request under the OSCE Vienna document is inadmissible,” he said.
Earlier, Ukraine demanded that the Russian Federation provide clarifications on military activities near the borders and in the temporarily occupied Crimea within the framework of the Vienna Document within 48 hours.

After Ukraine did not receive a response, the Foreign Ministry announced the convening of an urgent meeting with Russia and other countries participating in the Vienna Document.
