A video of a bartender who honestly revealed how gaining weight changed people’s behavior towards her has gone viral online.
Cassidy Lane, with the name @body_positive_bartender on TikTok, posted a video replying to another user’s call to “stitch” with their video if they had had “pretty privilege”.
In her video, she states she boldly overcame an eating disorder which resulted in her gaining weight after the pandemic.
- Brief Anger Hampers Blood Vessel Function Leading to Increased Risk of Heart Disease and Stroke – New Study
- New Blood Test Pinpoints Future Stroke Risk – Study Identifies Inflammatory Molecules as Key Biomarker
- Enceladus: A Potential Haven for Extraterrestrial Life in its Hidden Ocean Depths
- New Experiment: Dark Matter Is Not As ‘DARK’ As All We Think
- Scientists in Fear of This New Predator From Red Sea Eating Native Species in Mediterranean
And, shockingly, the way she looks has had a negative impact on how people view her at work – both in attitudes and tips.
Before gaining weight, Cassidy says she would engage in a friendly conversation with male punters at her bar.
But now, when she starts talking to them all she gets back is “two Coors Light and a Bud Light”.
