Following an argument, a teen allegedly admitted to attempting to murder both of his parents.

Adnan Pelinkovic is accused of murdering his mother, 52, and injuring his father, 54, after gunning them both down.

The 18-year-old, who is being held on murder charges, allegedly confessed to authorities that he ‘tried to kill his parents.’

On Saturday evening, he shot them in the family’s Staten Island home.

“I did try to kill them,” Pelinkovic, 18, told cops, the criminal complaint said. “I shot my dad.”

Minire Pelinkovic, Adnan’s mother, was shot in the chest after a family fight at 6.20 p.m. on Saturday and was brought to Staten Island University Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, according to police.

According to police, the accused gunman’s father, Enver Pelinkovic, 54, was injured. According to initial reports, the older Pelinkovic was slashed.

Police stated the son, who was apprehended at the site, used his father’s Sig Sauer 9 millimetre to allegedly carry out the slaying.

An “argument” sparked the tragic shooting, according to an NYPD spokesperson. According to the complaint, Adnan Pelinkovic was charged with murder, attempted murder, attempted assault, and unlawful weapons possession.

He was ordered held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, according to the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office.
