This is the seventh Russian plane shot down by Ukrainian air defense units today.

The press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military shot down the seventh aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The message posted on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Facebook page says:

“On February 24, according to the operational information of the United Forces Command, a plane of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was shot down over Luhansk region.

“This is the seventh occupier plane shot down by Ukrainian air defense units today. / On February 24, according to the operational information of the Joint Forces Command, a plane of the Russian armed forces was shot down over Luhansk Region.

“This is the seventh plane of the occupiers shot down by Ukrainian air defense units today.”

The Ukrainian military also added that the invaders continue to take damage.
